Gun Control:
The 2nd Amendment allows a US citizen to bear arms, but the left has tried its best to resist that for years.
The 2nd Amendment was designed to protect the US citizen from government as the drafters of it were well aware of England and its king, a dictator and didn’t want a tyranny type government. A form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution, laws or opposition etc.)
Public schools that had had students and teachers shot don’t allow any security with guns, if the community in the college in Roseburg Oregon, 10/2/2015, had had security with guns the ten people killed and others maimed no doubt wouldn’t of happened.
Sources say the one security person only had mace, this reluctance of not having at least two or more security service guards at the college with guns is not tolerable, but the left has been firmly entrenched that citizens shouldn’t carry a gun, since they can’t get the guns away from the bad guys that’s overlooked, again total nonsense.
The United States as known is a very big nation , estimates 330 million citizens with many undesirable illegal’s. The Constitution along with the many regulating laws have been able to keep this country as the best and strongest nation in the world.
Along comes Barack Obama in 2008 with his promise of a better America, what can be said about him, disregarding the left wing democrat party and liberal news outlets.
The country has done nothing but go downhill, estimates, 94 million out of work, 53 million on food stamps, we owe 18 trillion plus, a walk through border on the south, high prices, left Iraq leaving it in a unforgiving state of collapse, a deal with Iran to let them get an atomic bomb, Putin and Iran taking over Syria, what else.
Another problem is in the public schools, how this great country came about not being taught, teachers not qualified, protected by teacher unions, global warming in text books, different religions can be talked about, but if the bible is mentioned the ACLU will sue, if you point your finger like a gun your sent home. That’s why more families are doing home schooling.
Communism was creeping into the United States in the thirties. Republican (GOP) Senator Joseph McCarthy became a dominant voice of anti-Communism starting in 1950. Congressman John F. Kennedy, at the time running for the Senate seat, had promised not to give any McCarthy speeches that his liberal supporters found would effect democrat voters.
He agreed to not expose the evils of communism for the liberal news media to then give falsehoods (a better description — make up lies) about what should be reported on in a truthful report. Then it is picked upon by the low information voter giving them false information, so when they vote their selections are wrong.
Sources say the New York Times sets the agenda for big city newspapers. Front page articles need to be scrutinized for their accuracy, they can be used to bolster misleading demagogues and other twisters of the truth.
The United States is guided by the Constitution and the U.S. military, strongest in the world, wouldn’t be if run by another form of government. Unfortunately the left wing democrat party, politicians in it for their own benefits or belief, indoctrinated into undermining what the U.S. should be, a good and strongest nation in the world military , has placed the US in jeopardy.
William F. Buckley, Jr. needs some exposure here in this article to let it be known of his part in the conservative movement. It can be said that he was the father of conservatism. He founded National Review in 1955 setting the start of the conservative agenda and its importance in keeping the U.S. following the Constitution.
There were few if not any publications at that time, devoted to conservative commentary. he served as editor-in-chief until 1990, then retired from the day-to-day running of the National Review. He relinquished his controlling shares of National Review in 2004 to a board of trustees he had pre-selected.
Buckley continued to write his syndicated newspaper column, opinion pieces for National Review and National Review Online, until his death in February 27, 2008. National Review and National Review Online is a conservative publication that can be relied on for the facts. There are also other publication out there that have great articles with informative report.
In the 1960s I didn’t realize I was a conservative. There was so much liberal nonsense going on, Paul Harvey was the only one in the news making sense.
When Ronald Reagan was the president I like what he was doing immensely, I voted for him twice. Also I voted for him twice as the governor of California, again not realizing I was a conservative.
When I discovered Rush Limbaugh in 1990/1991, I started listening to him, then started recording his program so I could remember his teachings by referencing his comments. I finally realized what conservatism really meant and what it stood for.
I was a conservative, along with millions of others. Restaurants serving lunch played Rush Limbaugh’s program while patrons were eating.
