A strong leader the teachings he taught known as Calvinism became the cornerstone of Presbyterianism because of John Knox’s part of developing the Presbyterian church in Scotland based primarily on his teachings.
John Knox began establishing Presbyterian churches in his native land of Scotland around 1560. Evidently the Catholic church over the centuries set a precedent adopted by countless churches that with a system of beliefs you can start a church and have it progress father as it grows.
