The following I copied from another reliable source.
List of countries that were influenced by the Reformation, but abbreviated it, as it was so good for the explanation of the Reformation, probably written by a Professor or well qualified Intellectual.
I wanted to display to the reader in List of countries that were influenced by the Reformation, executions in them, burned at the stake, hung, and strangled.
The abbreviated following listed countries show in the spread of the Protestant Reformation should make aware fully to the reader what actually happened in the Reformation because of Martin Luther’s posted 95 thesis to the door of All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg Saxony.
Note the countries it influenced, and particularly the burnings at the stake.
Also, the rapid use of the Lutheran Church.
As noted, Martin Luther started a problem of that time that grew immensely with him and the Catholic Church; when he nailed his 95 thesis to the door of All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg, Saxony, now Germany, on October 31, 1517, he was excommunicated from the Catholic Church and started a different roll in his life, but it also started and grew into the Protestant Reformation.
The Protestant Reformation became thousands of Christian-oriented churches as it grew more in time.
I knew the Catholic Church, including the 1500 time, burned those who disagreed with them at the stake, so what I’ve included here is so explanatory for the reader that they will go away with an abbreviated knowledge of what caused the Reformation and what happened in it, along with the immense Protestant Reformation.
For a more explanatory article on the Reformation, check the list of countries that were influenced by the Reformation on the internet; books are helpful too.
